Tissue-Array.Net offers pre-made and custom tissue arrays from human or animal tissues. We can customize arrays using tissue blocks from our tissue bank or supplied by you.

Tissue Array can be used in high throughput screening, protein or gene expression, antibody screening with advantages of multiple tissues in one slide for easy use and comparison; minimize cost and workload, yet maximize output. Why tissue arrays? Tissue microarray (TMA) or short term tissue array is a right tool for target validation by analyzing expression of genes and proteins in the multiple tissue samples (tens or hundreds of human tumor or normal).

Why choose tissue arrays from Tissue-Array.Net?

Paraffin tissue - We collected all tissue samples in formalin fixative with making tissue array in mind, processed in the tissue processor no more than 24 hours of fixation. This step maybe crutial for certain antigens which easily be shield by formalin crosslinking, thus made antigen retrieval easier.
Varieties of tissue types (including glioma, tumors of soft tissue, head and neck, pancreatic, lymphoma, etc.) available in our pre-made tissue arrays.
Maximize available tissue cores - We put 80 cases of individual donor samples on one TMA comparing to 40-60 from most of other vendors. In the same time, we keep the core size as 1.5 mm in diameter to make sure the tissue cores in the tissue array be representative.
More controls - We put 40 tumor cores and 40 matched or un-matched normal adjacent tissue cores in the same tissue array to facilitate the comparision studies of differential expression of genes and proteins in normal and tumor regions.
Premium quality of tissue array - They are tested and works in immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining and In Situ hybridation (ISH) studies. The tissue cores are mounted on Fisher SuperFrost Positive charged glass, coated with thin layer of paraffin to prevent any possibility of oxidation or enzymic digestion. No more messy tape transfers. They are kept at -20C.
Precise pathology diagnosis - Every 10th sections of tissue array has been stained with H&E and viewed by two board certified pathologists to make sure the pathology diagnosis are current and matched to the adjacent serial sections.
Low price/unit ratio. By cutting the middle distributor, we manufacture all the tissue arrays in-house and put 3 or 5 unstained paraffin sections of tissue array as a package, each slide cost is reduced.
Highest QC standard in the industry. All tissue array slide from Tissue-Array.Net must meet 90% or higher valide cores in a given section. Valid core means the tissue core not only remain 50% or higher intact, but pathology is also confirmed.
